My first car was a 1963 powder blue 1100 in near mint condition. I got it in 1982 and my stepbrother had totalled it with underage drunk driving by 1984. It died before it was 21 and I got a waterbed as a replacement for my 21st birthday… The logic being that I only paid $600, and thats how much a waterbed cost… So it wasn’t even a real 21st present, just compensation.
